With many of us donning long undies and heading out to pond hockey tournaments in the coming weeks, it makes sense to take a look at what you can and cannot do during a pond hockey game. While it’s important to note that this is the official rules video of the US Pond Hockey Championships on Lake Nokomis in Minnesota, it’s a pretty safe bet that these rules are common among a majority of pond hockey tournaments. So even if your tournament rules differ slightly, it’s worth a viewing. The spirit of competition exists at all events, but there is a line between competing hard and being the team that doesn’t get invited back . Heed Mr. Haberman’s advice and ensure you’re on the right side of that line.
