A great day on the pond at 9,000 ft in Southern Colorado
This is one of our local ponds located near Salida, CO. We can usually have mirror-like black ice by last week of October on this lake! Planning to have a 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 pond tourney next November to showcase this rare gem.

Pictures of people skating on ponds and lakes near mountains makes me want to move....then I remember I do that every year at the NEPHC and its all ok again. :)
