My whole life I have been hell-bent on putting an ice hockey rink in my backyard. Up to this point, my wish never came true. I am now a sophomore in college and i think it time i put my wish into action. My friends and I are looking into making a rink this winter, but the 20x40 Nice Rink isn't too appealing. I would much rather make my own and have it be larger than that. Being the typical college kid, i am looking for the cheapest way to make a rink, but still have it be efficient. Do you guys have any suggestions as to how i can make it? Thanks in advance.

A nice how-to from Backyard-hockey.com:

It's a great starting place to get the basic ideas.
