I decided to go bigger this year, up to 84' x 44' from 64' x 32'. To accommodate this I had to switch to the other side of my yard, and apparently did a piss poor job with my line level as my deep end wound up 5 inches deeper than anticipated (was expecting 12", it's at 17").
I'm using Nicerink boards and brackets, and have already reinforced the entire deep end, so from a support standpoint I'm OK. The problem I now face is that only 1 inch of the Nicerink board protrudes above the ice surface in my deepest sections. We're going to be chasing pucks like crazy in those areas.
Any thoughts from you experts on building a secondary barrier to "extend" the height of my boards? I'm looking for cheap and easy if possible? Thanks!
