How I spent my weekend. :)
First time I tried flooding and it was a learning experience. You know you are a hockey parent when you brush off the strange looks you get when you ask the guy at the hardware store for garden hose in mid-January.

Need replacement parts (don't ask...) for my rinkrake so off to Home Depot... 'Can I help you?' "Yeah, I need to know where the underground sprinkler system section is?" 'Well, you may have a tough time getting through the frost'. Typical response...
Couple of years ago, I asked the same thing to a different worker - his response, 'Putting in a backyard rink eh?' Now there's a guy you can respect!! :-D
