Finally got a couple Christmas gifts installed on the boards.
Now I need to ring some pucks off them to make them blend in.

those look awesome. part of my rink faces the road, and i'm thinking of making a simple stencil that says "BACKYARD-HOCKEY.COM" and painting that on the boards that face the road. I didnt think you'd have a problem with that Joe, just to help spread the word in this area. i'll make sure i send a pic in if i get a chance to do it up.

ponds can still be considered "backyard rinks". they technically are in someone's backyard!

The board sign's look sweet !! I'm jealous of the boards!! The rink i skate at is affiliated with a few other's around the metro Detroit area and i'm always asking if any of them are due to take down old boards and put up new one's!! Would be nice to get my hands on some rink board's..

I got my hands on these boards without really knowing what I was going to do with them. But I love the way it's turned out (almost two years after I rented a u-haul to grab them). This summer I'll be getting some white plexi and filling in the gaps between the boards, to give a more uniform look.
