Are those LEDs in the water? Will they hold up? They don't short out?

Looking at the long term forecast here in NW New Jersey and there is no sign of cold coming anytime soon.

Love the LED idea.. if they're clear you can turn them off during the day so they won't draw heat & melt the ice. Let us know how that works out.. if they hold up in the water, etc. Great looking rink! Hoping for some day below 45 degrees so I can even start to THINK about getting our rink ready to roll... it's gonna be a long warm winter at this rate.

I did the LED's last year too. They are submersible ones. I just had to waterproof the plug connections with some RTV. They actually change colors and blink, etc. I picked them up on Ebay for about $75. Using it as a "blue" line of sorts. They have a remote control to turn on and off as well.
