Here is our first rink. We skated last night and today. Now I just hope we can deal with the snow coming.

How deep is that on the deeper end? Looks like a decent chunk of ice down there. Nice work ! Enjoy the winter.

13 inches on deep end. 5 on shallow. Braced well with 2x6's and holding great.

Nice... mine isn't doesn't have water in it yet, but it'll be about 14 to 16 in the deep end. Last season I had a leak and only ended up with about 12 in the deep end and never actually got enough ice to use the whole rink. Ended up putting a board across and basically made my rink a bit smaller than planned. This season I'm hoping to get the full lenth. Good to see someone else going pretty deep with no issues. Nice job again, looks great.

I'm always about 5-6" on the shallow end and 13-15" on the deep ends. Takes a little bit more water to fill the deep ends but once you do, everything flows from there.

I am with Kev, this is my first year but my "pool" or rink in the backyard is about 20" on one end and about 5 on the other. It is FROZE solid and we have been skating for about a week and half. I was nervous but this artic cold snap froze it up real nice last I could check mine was about 5 1/2 inches thick but now I can't get the measurement stick out it is to froze. Lot of fun, good luck!
