my 3yo can skate backward!

My rink is pretty small so pictures would not be very impressive. But I wanted to share how happy it's making me. We've had great skating weather lately, my ice looks great (except the leaves I keep bitching about but I'll get over it), and my 3 year old can't get enough. I've got lights up so we can skate in the dark so we can get more use out of it. I'm a happy mom :-)

Congratulations! Sounds like you are definitely hooked as an official backyardigan.

Again, don't worry about the leaves. Just resurface over them - to me, it seems almost natural to have a maple leaf or two (or in my case, several dozen) stuck in the ice (as long as they aren't blue).

Cheers
Kevin
