Mike, would love to know more about your kick plates as I fixed four divots just today. And my black lab only loves to jump on my slab when it's slushy! Spent an hour shaving down the last set of paw/butt splatters last Saturday!

Aren't dogs great? I think I have mine pretty trained to stay away from the rink. She actually tries to avoid it as much as possible especially when we are out skating. Deep down I always dread the thought of someone skating over the pooch's paws.

That was my main worry too kevmac! My dog (as all dogs do, I'm sure) LOVES pucks. problem is, to get to pucks you generally need to go near skates. scary thought!
