homeboni or just a hose?

When I resurface my ice I just use a hose with nothing on the end of it and a 5 foot handle taped to it for easy manuvering and just flood a two foot strip working back and forth down the rink and it works great. My question is who all has used both methods, and is there an advantage of using a homeboni over the hose?

I use both too - depends on my ice surface and how lazy I am any given night. If I need to flood a bit more, to fill in shell ice or footprints or whatnot, I just use the hose (and I like the idea of an extra pipe at the end). If I just need a nice coat to polish it off, I'll break out the resurfacer. But both are just fine.
