Bit of a slope this year on the rink...ice close to top of the boards on one side and very little and a bare spot on the other side....any good ideas on how we isolate the flood on the one bare side in order to balance the rink? Thanks in advance.

There is another option, it involves a lot of work... You could pull you liner back in that area and remove some material - grass, dirt ect... Its a pain in the A$$ getting through frozen ground, but it does work. I had to do this in my high corner this year. A couple of days later, my surface was complete and ready for skates... Good luck which ever way you decide to go.

Another option for you... if you are 'lucky' enough to live in an area where there is snow, fill the remaining area with snow, pack it down really well and slowly soak it with your 'rink rake' or 'homeboni'. It will eventually turn into ice and fill at the same time. At the very least, it will protect the tarp from stray skate blades.
