Any tips to build a mesh net?

I'm considering building some sort of net that will extend my boards on one of my short sides in order to do some slap shot practice. How would you guys approach this? I believe it must be at least 7 feet tall, maybe more, due to my terrible slap shot skills.

Where can I find a net that will disallow pucks to sneak through?

Nicerink sells a nice 25x8 net that I've found is pretty well-made (full disclosure: I sell them, but hey, buy it used). Otherwise I've ordered from a place on ebay called Florida Nets. Not as nice a quality but much cheaper.

Ok, thanks for your reply, Joe.
I'll have a look at my local hardware/fishing store to see if they got any. If not, any chance you ship items overseas?

I'm sure I could, but I doubt it would make sense for you to pay those shipping rates. I could certainly look into it. If you do go ebay through florida nets, I believe ebay has a new international shipping option that's supposed to be a bit cheaper.

I'll second Florida Nets on eBay. I searched around this fall and used some contacts to find some scraps of mesh used in rinks/arenas. FloridaNets with shipping to Canada was 1/3 of the cost.

Sorry I'm not up to speed on Norwegian fishing industry in the Oslo area, but if you happen to know someone who knows a fisherman, they might have some used netting.
