Community rink (on concrete, not grass)

After three years of building a backyard rink (~30x30), our chamber approached me about installing rink in a downtown park. The location they have in mind is a concrete pad with decent shade but on the small side (guessing 30x50, haven't measured it yet). If it's large enough, what are your recommendations for building a rink on a concrete pad?

Hey Dan,

We actually talked about this with another forum member this past week. Check out some of my comments there and let me know if you have questions. I build mine on a tennis court so I'm familiar with the challenges. The flat slope is nice, the lack of in-ground support can be challenging.
