- Materials: 2x12's, mason spikes, reinforced visqueen. After ice in place line with 2x8's to protect plastic.
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Way up North... in Alaska.
Second year for our backyard rink. Last week we hosted our inaugural Backyard Hockey League Winter Classic 3 on 3. We had eight teams in a single elimination tourney and over 120 people stop by our house for good cheer, good food, and pretty darned good hockey. The age limits were between 10 and 110. (We would not allow 111 years-olds play due to way too much experience.) We had some comp kids, some rookie kids, some ex-collegiates, and ex-pros. It was a huge success and everyone looks forward to next year's BHL Winter Classic.

That is absolutely awesome! The rink must be a decent size in order to host a 3 on 3 tourney like that - it looks like you even had jerseys made up!
