Seeing as the back yard guys have pics of their Rinks. Its time for our own one!! Here's mine after a fresh resurfacing! I have to find a better way to get to the water. Currently I'm using an axe to cut through! anyone know where I can find a 2" auger that will work with a cortdless drill??

thanks! we have a small spot in the upper right corner that the little kids can skate on while there is a game of pickup going on! the snow banks protect them from errant pucks!!

use a wood or concrete bit with your drill to make a hole. there are some you can find that have a 12-14 inch long shaft on them to get all the way through the ice. most hardware stores or a farm store or lowes will have something like this

Here is the pond in 2013 located in S. Wisconsin. This morning I saw we had some expansion cracks to work on tonight to get it ready for the weekend.

Love this picture Joey...and I know you've posted it before. But what a great shot. Do you live in one of those houses? Or are those people cool with the pond hockey?

In that picture, our house would be over to the right....way over to the right. That is why I need over 300 feet of hose to flood it. One of the houses in the pic, is another hockey family but all the houses seem to tolerate our pond hockey addiction....no complaints so far.
