What's the thought on tempreture for flooding? Here in SE Michigan we have 10 days with highs hovering right around freezing (34-29) with lows at night in the mid 20's (26-20)... Our rink is fairly well shaded by the house, but we'll still get about 4 hours of direct sunlight. My hope is that we could flood tonight and be skating in 5 or so days. Last year the decision was a no brainer as it got cold so quickly. I'd apprecaite input from guys who've been through a few more seasons than I have... Am I just over eager? Do I need to wait until the highs are in the 20's etc... The only thing we've got going is the 10 day doesn't have any snow in the forecast, so no need to worry about a ton of snow on a thin slab....
If there are any other considerations I need to make with flooding at these temps I'd really appreciate any input... Thanks folks!
