So I know I have a tear on my sidewall of my liner. Has anyone ever tried to chisel ice down near the wall to get at the damage? I tried to repair when it was under water but I do not think I had much luck. It has been so cold that I think I can do this. I guess another option would be hot water through a hose then pump out the water in that section but I have no control over what melts then.

Just did that today. Some of my kickplates had lifted up so I chiseled the ice out and reset. Was pretty easy. I used a 4" wide chisel, about 1" out with a slight angle towards the board. Give it a good tap. Check to see what came loose. Don't hit it real hard, the ie will crack easier than you think. Start off hitting it lightly until you get the feel of it.

Thanks, I might give it a try. I figure if I cannot fix it I am no worse off than I am now.
