First rink, first skate 2013
The morning started off like Christmas morning. The kids were up early wanting to go skating. I had told them yesterday when they got off the bus we could go Saturday. Sooooo, quick eat breakfast and off to the rink we went, awesome, their words not mine, but my thoughts exactly. Getting ready to head out for a night skate. Can't wait. Will post pics later.

Forgot to post pics. First skate on Dec. 7. The kids have been on it almost every day. The kids love the fact that the puck bounces off the sides instaed of going into a snowbank like the skateing was on the pond.

That is an AWESOME looking rink! We plan to make diagonal corners like that for next season.. we're finding out that pucks really like to hide in corners.. even when 5 year olds are hitting them. ;)
