We beat my record of November 30th of last by one day. I probably could have skated last night but decided the resurface instead. The ice is a little rough around the edges where the snow clumps became ice but the middle is in grand shape after a solid couple of hours of flooding last night. Heading back out tonight with the homeboni and see if I can't fix up the sides for some better skating tomorrow!

Congrats!!! I thought I would be skating this weekend until Mr. Lake effect snow machine dumped 10-12" on us over a couple days.

We got our first skate in on the 29th aswell... :)

I probably could have skated earlier in the week, but I found my laziness was much more willing than my desire to flood the rink.

The kids made it out on Thanksgiving morning -- 11/28. Our first skate last year was Christmas day. I think this is going to be a great year!
