Never thought I'd say that in reference to a natural backyard rink...but sure enough, it was 25 last night and I got out there this morning. We haven't skated since Feb 7th, right before we got dumped on by 30" of snow. I cleared that storm, but the rest of February was either in the 40's or snowing, so I threw in the towel early. Since then all the snow has melted, and yesterday it was all slush, which froze over nicely. I took a couple pictures and a video and will post them on the FB page.

I have been extremely tempted to grab the blades and head out on the ice in my backyard - it is extremely rough looking but now that I have seen you do it, I might have to try it this evening just to say April 4th! :-)

<Edit> I think I missed my window as I just checked the weather and it's current'y +5 (41) and only going to get warmer. Oh well...
