Its been mid 30's to 40's during the days here in Northern Indiana for about 10 days.. overnight temps haven't gone down much below 30-25... been a floating thin ice cube for about a week. 10-14 day forecast doesn't look to be bringing much sustainable ice weather with only a few days below freezing before it turns 45 again. Sucks but we've had just under 20 days of skateable ice here so i shouldn't complain. One of these years we'll have a month of sub freezing temps again like in 2009-10. Hope everyone else to the north gets a few weeks yet of decent weather...

Yep, things are winding down in Northern Ohio as well. We were able to coax another morning skate out of the slab yesterday with overnight temps in single digits on Sunday and some proactive preparation.

There is an outside chance of a skate Weds or Thurs this week with the forecast as it stands right now. But I have come to terms with the fact that, absent a day or two here and there maybe, 2013 is all but over.

I am having a really hard time with it though.
