Hey gang...I wrote about this project on the blog this morning, and as of right now, the crew is about halfway to their $5,000 goal. The idea is to film a Pond Hockey-esque documentary, only in the northeast and with some slightly different angles.

I haven't mentioned this anywhere else...but I'm super-eager for this to happen because the film crew will be at my house next Saturday to film a skating party and talk to me about my rink and the outdoor hockey culture. So yes, I have a vested interest in them getting their funding. But just think - all these years I've been hiding behind my keyboard, but now, if these folks can fully fund this project, you'll get to see me on camera, looking stupid and saying ridiculous things out of nervousness and lack of on-screen savvy, captured in a documentary for eternity, right there for my grandkids to laugh at.
