Double Liner

Is there any advantage to putting down a second layer of liner? I have a 6 mil 20' x 100' clear liner. Small rink is 12' by 37' I'm thinking of cutting it in half and putting down two layers.
If anything, I'm thinking that this will make the clear liner closer to "white" obviously not really white, but at least opaque.
Any thoughts out there? Pros, cons?
Thanks,
Bob in Minneapolis

I've never had any issues with the clear liners I've used, though I use white Nicerink liners about 99% of the time now. So I don't think the color will make a difference. What might help is that you now have two layers of protections against sticks, rocks, etc...any of which can ruin your fill day with holes. If you have it, either save it for next year or lay both down and get extra protection.

I went with the single layer. "Clear" is really more like an opaque gray...plus we had a dusting of snow today. I'm filling right now....its a little windy, but the temp is heading to 27 tonight, and down to 16 tomorrow night. Here we go...!
