most areas are much thicker. especially the deep end where the leak is. My biggest problem is a lose water inder the slab in the deep end and no water in the shallow end. I assume this means that eventually the ice would just snap as it would not be level anymore. So if I add more liner I would be n...

and if is deeper than 5 inches more bracing will be needed. maybe some angle braces in the deep end.

If you flood over the top the water will just find it's way to the bottom and leak out the hole. That is probably not an option. I have heard others just place a liner over the slab and fill.
