We will be skating on the pond by late November this year!!

(Of course, you must realize that I say this EVERY year........)

I am in southern Wisconsin. So yes, I know that late November is always a reach. We have not done that in about 5 years but I am positive that this is the year!!

Okay, we won't make late November but this morning gave me hope for December!!

The Pond Hockey Gods have smiled upon us here is S. Wisconsin.....timing a two week + period of below freezing temps to go along with Christmas break. We flooded a section of The Pond on Christmas Eve and we were out there on Christmas morning. Here's hoping everyone gets a cold stretch as well!!

Here is the pond in 2013 located in S. Wisconsin. This morning I saw we had some expansion cracks to work on tonight to get it ready for the weekend.

In that picture, our house would be over to the right....way over to the right. That is why I need over 300 feet of hose to flood it. One of the houses in the pic, is another hockey family but all the houses seem to tolerate our pond hockey addiction....no complaints so far.

Now that the Bruins are about done with my Rangers, I will be able to go back to reading Joe's Twitter comments. :)
