Thanksgiving in the US is usually the 3rd weekend in November....Lots of folks use Thanksgiving weekend as the "Setup weekend". Turkey on Thursday, Setup on Friday!

Curious if anyone else has figured out a way to post an avatar pic for their profile? Was looking to do this, but cannot find a way to get a picture under 6 KB. Anyone else able to find a way? Any way to maybe up that 6KB to like 60 or 100KB (which is still really small with modern internet speeds)....

Wow...those are some pretty big swings....Unfortunately......I would have to say wait....just not sure you build up a big enough layer of ice to get out onto it to shovel if god forbid it snows....

If you could post pictures that would be helpful---just to see what you are dealing with. I think water (from a hose, cold will work just as well as warm) should melt a hole through the ice near where the tear is and then you should hopefully be able to seal it with tape---do you have the good tape?...
