still high thirties and creeping on 40 here in indiana. supposed to be warm this week with lower 20's highs the middle of next week. this weather sucks. ready for cold and snow.

i have a big 36 inch wide snow shovel. we get lake effect snows almost every night/day and there are times when theres a good 8-10" of super fluffy snow on my ice. that big shovel is great to just hog it all to the edge and then i can come back and clean it up with a smaller shovel and broom.

if you can use warm water in your zamboni/rink rake it usually melts that snow. sometimes regular old cold water melts it too.

if its pretty cold where you're at maybe fill more than an 1/8 to a 1/4 at a time try dumping an inch or two on it as long as its not floating up where its cracking at.
