I'm a first timer and about to build tomorrow using the 7/16 osb ripped 2'x8' lengths. What screws and length do you recommend for joining the boards using the mending plates and L brackets? With the 7/16osb it seems like even the 1/2" screws will stick out the other side of the board. Any sugg...
