Alternate Solution for Sloped Area??

Anyone ever try laying down pallets and cover with ply wood to raise the deepend up? My current slope is 8-9" from one end to the other. I was going to cover all the plywood seems and all the corners at boards with strips of towels and duck tape to prevent contact with any potential sharp edges...

Alternate option for sloped area??

Anyone ever try building up the deepend by laying down pallets and then cover with plywood? I'm thinking of duct taping down strips of towels over all the plywood seems to protect the liner incase it settles a bit. Does this sound crazy? Would I be better off just filling the entire rink as is. 8-9&...

Hoping for a better season than last year. We got one skate in and then a major ice storm turned our rink into a brush pile. Several large branches punctured right through the ice and liner.
