Re: Lighting

I get the cheapest halogens I can find, then disassemble the mounting arm a bit. Most have these adjustable arms that have a hole in them (to mount to a base). I remove the base and that leaves you with a hole to mount to a tree, fencepost, etc. http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/400/5f...

3/4" plywood is thick but still usable, but my local hardware store stocks 23/32" plywood for about $10/sheet cheaper. If you have the time/resources/desire, I've seen folks frame out the back of their boards with inexpensive 2x3 lumber to make it really strong. This is similar to what I'...

Looking Good!

Re: alternative water sources

I just googled "bulk water delivery Massachusetts" and it brought up this list:

You'll probably have to compare prices and services, but one of them hopefully will work.

The Sudeenew Slab

35 x 52 First ever attempt at a rink and I'm still very nervous about the flood. I've got a bunch of green pool noodles to cover the boards and I still have to put up the net: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b209/chops44/unnamed_zps57e50c19.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b209/chops44/unname...
