I was hoping I might be able to get some advice concerning when I should fill my rink. I'm definitely getting anxious about filling it and want to do it sooner than later. However, I do not want to mess this up seeing it is my first rink. Here is the forecast for my area for the next week and a half...

Northern Ct here, experiencing the same thing. My rink was not completely frozen yet...wonder if I'll have any issues with an inch of water on top of my 2 inch floating ice mass! Any thoughts?

Liner tears along top edge of ice from skates

Any ideas to patch slices and cuts in the liner along the edge of the ice? We have had some warm weather here in New England lately and I have a giant block of ice floating in water. As it rains, the water is leaking out of these cuts in the liner and causing some uneven ice.
