Wow, did it just get a bit dusty in here? 

I don’t mention the NHL very often, but kudos to the Washington Capitals organization for helping facilitate this emotional homecoming.  Hockey, at its most basic level, is about family and friends and a connection to the people we love (right Jack?), so it’s only appropriate that the Verizon Center was the site of this moving moment.  Thanks to On Frozen Blog for the tip.
