Not only was I spot on about yesterday’s storm…that the forecast of 3-6″ would be underestimated (we got 10″ throughout the day)…but we even got a random 4″ overnight LAST night! So the hour I spent last night cleaning up the driveway, the walkway, and the rink had to be duplicated again tonight to clear the additional surprise powder. I’m starting to wonder if we’re ever going to get four straight days of no precipitation so that we can skate again! Although I can’t complain too much, as the temps have been sub-freezing for the better part of the last month, and the ice is a solid rock in all sections.  It’s looking a bit warmer this week, but the nights are in the teens and below, and best of all, it doesn’t appear that we’ll get any of the white stuff at all this week. Maybe we’ll actually be able to have that elusive skating party this weekend? We’ll see…
